Didnt know what to expect, too many mixed reviews. I really liked the food. I had stuffed peppers and soup from the lunch menu. It came with soft pita bread. I love stuffed peppers as my dad used to make them all the time, these were almost as good. Beans soup was good as well. For $7.99 i cant complain!!
After seeing Café Pita on Triple D I decided to take my aunt from Indiana in today. I read some reviews, and it looked like most people loved the food; but thought the service was lacking. I can honestly say that our service was great. We were the second table in for lunch(11:15). Our server James seated us. He was very polite. I told him we saw them on TV and were here for the first time. He explained everything for us, and made recommendations. We ordered "Guy's favorites" the pljeskavice and cevap sandwich. They were both very good. It is hard to beat that bread. The sauces that came with each were perfect. I don't normally eat dessert, but James recommended the palacinci. reminded me of a "dessert quesadilla" with chocolate instead of cheese. Pretty tasty, it also came with a strawberry sauce that my aunt tried and liked. Overall, it was a great experience. My aunt said it is the best restaurant that I have taken her to, and we have been to some good ones. I totally recommend it.
Its good to go back and remind yourself of home, food is one of the best ways to take you back the nostalgic feeling the aroma its a good thing i believe. I enjoy going to cafe pita the staff is friendly and courteous the only downside is i suppose occasionally the need to wait longer than i would like but that's a given considering the size of the restaurant and the amount of traffic that is received. overall 4-4.5/5 for me ! P.S. Bosnian pizza among the best things to try at cafe pita!
Service was just bellow poor.Food tasted bad for the money we payed. Let me put it this way Super 8 with Hilton prices....Owners need to tighten this one up!!
European style eating. You might have to ask for your bill. Service is poor. Quality of food is good. Environment isn't great. Interesting cuisine. Used to be great now just ok.
