Cianfrani Coffee Co
Reviews
The coffee is good, the service is great, but the bathrooms are always dirty and smelly. There's also a weird odor in the whole shop that smells like cigars, which is not a scent you'd like or expect in a coffee shop. Too bad because it's the only independent coffee shop in downtown Georgetown and I'd love to be able to support them.
Coffee shop or zoo? Here, you've got both. Coffee is okay, tea selection is good, layout is poorly planned, and soccer moms toting multiples galore. Don't expect a quiet, nor private place nook to work. Definitely for the Sun City socials and screaming kids with sirens on their electronic toys. The Square is a great asset to Georgetown, but I would suggest you stop by a different coffee shop before you come if you're looking for ambiance, good drinks, friendly staff, and well-planned space. As much as it pains me to support Starbucks, they've got the business figured out. Cianfrani's feels more like a bad local diner with its mediocre food & drink offerings and a noise level that leaves something to be desired. Buy local...somewhere else.
Best in town. And cheaper then most.
It has to have, by far, the best mocha I have had in a long long time. The staff is really friendly, professional and fun to interact with. The coffee is good and reasonably priced. Their Madeleines are really good (It was my first time having one, but I am definitely going back for more). The place is really clean and cozy and offers a quiet non-intrusive environment for you to sit around.
I stopped in for a cup of coffee and a pastry. The barista was friendly, the coffee was hot and good, and the pastry was tasty. It was very busy but the noise was manageable. I enjoyed the artwork on the walls. I was passing through on I-35, as i do once a month and i plan to make this a regular stop.
