Nice people. Bought a lot of gear from them and will rent from them in the future. I was nervous during the classes, and that came out like I was a jerk. These folks were pros and didn't let it affect the way they treated me. They were totally cool. The Balmorhea trip was fun. They are passionate about their business and it shows.
This is a family run business and the people running it are great. This is a labor of love for the Cullens. They truly want you to enjoy the hobby and they will go to any length to ensure you're comfortable and safe diving. We got certified with the shop recently and it was a relatively smooth process for a good price.
Fantastic dive shop. Learned to overcome my fear of drowning by the teaching that came with Chick, Debbie, & David. They were all very patient with me and gave me plenty of time to master the skills needed for my open water dive. Thank you for that.
Absolute best dive shop around! I was completely afraid of water, could not swim, and thought diving was something only crazy people wanted to do. But the day I walked into Aqua Trek, all of that changed. Debbie, Chick, and David were amazing. This family owned business really changed my outlook about water. They truly are all about making people very comfortable in the water and teaching them what they need to know and getting people to become life time divers. Throughout each of the pool sessions, I gained more confidence, and learned to actually enjoy, and then fall in love with diving. On some occasions, and during some of the drills, I would get scared and would start to feel panicky. Each time, an instructor was right next to me to calm me, and keep me going. Then, when we went to do our lake dives, I was excited and already looking forward to diving in the ocean. This place is absolutely fabulous. I will always go back to them for all of my classes and diving needs.
