We found pieces of metal in our food. The food was cheap and well prepared, but as we finished our meal, we came across shreds of metal from a metal scouring pad in BOTH of our meals. I'm usually too embarrassed to complain about problems with my food, but this seemed like it could be a problem for the other diners as well, so I told the waitress about the metal shreds. However, all they did was knock 20% off the price, and seemed resentful that I brought it to their attention. I've only complained about my food a few times, but every time I've done so previously, the restaurant comped the whole meal and tried to smooth it over. This is the first time I've found a potentially dangerous foreign object in my food (not just something disgusting like an insect or hair) and also the first time a restaurant charged me for serving me something harmful. Avoid this place.
Decided to try Sealand's for dinner for the first time. Great food, at reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and had good service. Place was very clean. I had the crumb crusted pan seared catfish. Delicious!
Had the flounder which wss excellent. Great service and at a reasonable price. Will come back again.
This was my last dinner on my visit to Brenham, and was very good. I ordered the Alaskan King Crab legs, with a salad and potato the price was very reasonable ($30) for the large amount of cab legs served. The crab was fresh, tender and sweet, some of the best I've ever had. Excellent wait staff. This is a place I will visit again next time I'm in Brenham.
I have never had a bad experience at Sealand! I am a steak eater and have found no other steak in town as good as Sealand's Ribeye!! Service is pleasant and friendly, pricing is fair, and food is great!!
