WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They sold me a cell phone rate plan which does not exist. Spent 4 hours trying to get my phones activated because they messed up the port-in request. Left me without phone service for nearly 2 days. Then a month later my bill was all wrong, spent another 2 hours at the store and the Wireless Manager Nicole, told me she had it all squared away with bill credits, and I agreed to pay $15 more a month than what I signed on the contract because I just wanted to go home already. Turns out half the bill credits I was promised were not submitted, the rate plan was wrong AGAIN and they promised to do something for me on the store level for all the frustration they caused me, but they never came through. Now I spent 10 minutes on hold just trying to get a human on the phone at the store so I can ask to be placed on hold again to speak with the wireless manager. Both the Store manager ( Bill Jaynes ) and wireless manager ( Nicole Anderson ) like to talk a big game that they focus on customer service, but seem to not be able come through on the promises. I would stay away from this best buy store for sure, and perhaps all of best buy mobile as I had a similar problem at the NorthEast Philly location as well.
This location used to be ok, but it has become the absolute worst! god help you if you need to call and ask a simple question or get a hold of Geek Squad. Either get an employee that states will connect you to a specific dept - then get disconnected or they simply never answer the phone. As for stock, if I find something that I need, they never have it in stock. would be nice since I live about 2 miles from this store. Nope, I would either have to drive to Montgomeryville, Langhorne or NE Philadelphia (Which won't happen, sorry I don't feel like paying the extra city tax on top of the 6% state tax) - these locations seem to carry everything I always need - Willow Grove, I guess is simply not an important location, if you walk around you'll notice big large empty areas where merchandise could easily fill its place, specifically between the CDs/DVDs and Video Game area - not sure why this is, its near one of the larger malls in the area. And when I actually just stop in this location to look around, maybe have a question. Customer service is horrific. Either no one is around or 2 19-20 years old associates are chatting it up and my question apparently can wait until they are done. Almost reminds me of the employees in the movie "The 40 Yr. Old Virgin" Cashiers, thats a whole other story, recently I've run across some very miserable employees. With that said, I found an item I need right now..I would have gone to Willow Grove. But nope, they do not carry it..again Montgomeryville does. So I'll be stopping there tomorrow.
Would review a zero but people show up to work so I'll give them that. Have been dealing for 3 months now to resolve something and with multiple messages, and contact with the employees involved I keep getting the "we'll get this resolved" but without any further help. Might have things you like, but not worth the hassle should something go wrong with your order.
Bought a flat screen tv and the sales person told me what wall mount to buy. Got it home and the wall mount is not the right one. Returned to the store and another sales person said they did not sell those anymore and directed me to another store about 25 miles away. Said they had seven of them in stock. Called the other store just to make sure before I drove that far. Guess what? The second wall mount was the same as the first!!! Now I have a tv I can't put on the wall. Am going to return everything and start all over. No one knows their a$$ from a hole in the ground. Worst customer service.
_Meh._ Most of the attendants are either pushy (the day I went there to buy a HP Chromebook 14, they tried to push me a laptop that was 3x the price), ethereal (you struggle to have their attention), ghostly (nowhere to be found) or simply unsuspecting (_"That is not from my area"_). The guys from the TV aisle are funny and helpful, though. Also, when I bought my 3DS XL, the vendor entered the restricted area and there stood for a long time. I asked another vendor (_"He must be building my 3DS right now..."_) and he promptly brought me the 3DS. Extra stars for price, but I recommend you to take a look at the nearby Staples first, because I found many things that were cheaper at Staples when compared to Best Buy.
