Let me start by saying some people are just to picky and need to learn to go with the flow and be less critical, that said let's review. We rolled in with now reservation and a about a half hour before they stopped serving dinner. We were immediately seated on the patio, (our choice) and our waitress was there in less then a minute. Kala, I think greeted us with a smile took our drink order and as back with them quickly and ready to take our order. I had the 12oz New York strip medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, was a little on the peppery side but I like that. My wife had the chicken sandwich and m daughter had the quesadilla and both were also good. Will definitely eat here again if ever in Gettysburg again.
Fun staff, great management, and the food is enjoyable and beautifully presented. A lot of changes in the staff so if u didn't like a certain employee, Cheryl, Head of Management, will deal with it swiftly and effectively.
We had a reservation for a party of 15 to 20 on 2/16/13. When we called in our reservation, the employee NEVER told us they were having the first ever comedy dinner event. Our reservation was at 6:30. The waitress took forever to get our drinks to us (she was too busy serving the comedy room) and had a bad attitude from the onset. The folks in our party that ate the buffet were enjoying their dinner whenever they were ready to eat. The poor people that chose to order off the menu waited over one hour for their dinners to arrive! We made the mistake of askin our server where the dinners were and she snapped "We have 300 people in the comedy room abnd your dinner will be here when the kitchen gets it out!" One of our party asked aboit the crab cakes and was told by server she doesn't know, she doesn'tn eat seafood. When this gal asked about the crab imperial, the snotty server came unglued and reiterated louder and more annoyed "I don't know - I DON'T EAT SEAFOOD!" Then the Pike's policy is to add 20% tip no matter how service was. I have a problem paying 20% tip when I get the buffet and am serving mself. The buffet was VERY good. Don't think we'll patronize this establishment again, manger was apologetic, but in effective. Too bad . . . .
A perfect 10. This place has it all. Everything from wedding receptions to DJ Peter Parker. Mechanical bull riding to 80's night. Fun for every1. Place is big too, but it can get FULL. Great employees and great people. Food is wonderful and prices even better. This is the place to be if you happen to be in that neck of the woods for sure.
I found the bartenders nice and helpful on a Saturday night. None of the drinks were watered down like some places do after awhile and also had some great drink suggestions if your unsure. A nice experience and kitchen is open till 10pm so come for a little early for some great food then stay the night for drinks and dancing.
