Kennies market is a great and family friendly place. Their food is great and they have some good prices on some items. But at kennies market the manager isnt the best, I think his name starts with and R. By personal experience he is someon I like to avoid when I go in because of something I wouldn't like to share. Also I have seen him be mean to workers and other customers also. Great place horrible management.
This store is the nicest supermarket in Gettysburg. For the past 4 years we have gotten your bagged lunches for our battlefield tours and we have been so pleased with the way we were treated and how good things are for the price. Last year at the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg our unit got a cake from your bakery and it was the beat we ever tasted and the wraps tray was so good. Thanks for being a terrific supermarket. Keep up the great work.
Now, you might of seen my brutal write ups on some slop houses that are called pizzerias in other reviews, but if you want to play it safe, go to Kennies. Their deli sections makes great sandwiches AND the best fried chicken I ever tasted. The Ribeyes, and the other meats we got there this year and last we're top notch. Seriously, if you wanna get raped by all those lousy joints in G'burg (Shooters is another one that's revolting) go to Kennies and pick up some eats. At least you know yer getting quality food vs. the ecoli packed so called restaurants in the 'burg.
