Metro Bar & Grill

Wonderful place to go in the Back Mountain! They have one of the better beer selections in the area (with experienced bartenders who know a lot about the beer they're serving) , and have great food too!
still waiting for my 2013 w-2s TOM FORD I've been asking you for over a year now for these almost everyday.
One of my favorite places to go to eat in PA is the Metro Bar and Grill. The specials are awesome, I don't eat red meat, but I hear lots of good things about the burgers. I have been eating veggie burgers for the past 15 years and I have to say it's definitely the best one I've ever had. What keeps me coming back is easily the atmosphere and the service. You can go during the day w/your family (kids eat free on Tuesdays!), on a friday night with friends, in the summer evenings and enjoy the patio..etc. What you're looking for in the Back Mountain..they have and it's awesome. Oh and don't leave w/o trying one of their martinis!
I happen to like Metro Bar and Grill. The patio is a great casual place to gather and the food, drinks and wine selections will make you happy while offering a decent price for all. The manager, staff and owner are all pleasant and happy to be of service . Some great new menu selections are being added as the new owner and manager have added their own flavor. Planning on visiting soon again!.
We ate here last week with a group of people. Granted, this was during the flood evacuation, so we need the service/food would not be up to par. We went in with that expectation. With that said, we had no idea it would be this bad and we would be treated so poorly by the staff. In short, we waited over 2 1/2 hours before we had to see a manager about the food situation. When the manager/ownere came to our table. He told us he would check on the rest of our food ( half of it was missing for a table of 8). He never came back to our table yet stood adjacent from us for quite some time. When we approached him again, he became irritated and our table honestly felt as though he was yelling at us. He was not apologetic in any way. He did not offer to get our food, wrap our food, or anything. We then went to Three Guys so the rest of our party could eat. There were FOUR other tables there that had to do the same exact thing. Additionally, when returning to my office on Monday, a colleague told me that he saw me at Metro and asked how it was. I explained our experience. His response: It took us 2 hours for a cold burger and some soggy fries. We all understand a bad night. There are different ways management can handle these situations. Explain what is going on to your customers. Get the food the requested. BE NICE.
