Found this awesome restaurant on our way to Portland in The Dalles. The food was so good. If you like wasabi order the shrimp cocktail... It is the BEST! Great service and a nice view of the river. We will be coming back!
Drove from Portland on Saturday with 2 girlfriends to celebrate one of our birthdays. It was fabulous - the weather was perfect, the restaurant was very nice (just like on the TV show), the wait staff was super and the food - heavenly! The price - extremely reasonable.. I had the Boat burger it was so big I barley was able to finish it. The home-made potato chips are awesome - not a bit greasy (only $7.00) - the potions are huge. Will surely go back and recommend it to everyone. The only thing - don't follow the map you download from Google maps - it's not accurate. Take exit 84, go a few blocks and you are there. Google maps says exit 82 and that puts you at the opposite end of town.
we selected the windseeker because of the view hoping the menu/service was all new. very disappointed about the SLOW service we received. had to go into the restaurant to get extra silverware, no one came to check if we needed more wine, had to call from our phone to get server to pay our bill. the food was ordinary. will not go there again..
Great service and good food.
Service was excellent . Staff was friendly . Food was delicious. Definitely will return !
