This is a very nice location, good food as well. The last two times I have been here the manager(owner?) has been very rude. The first time she was putting down her youth helpers in front of us.... degrading them for not welcoming us when she herself had not welcomed us. She did not thank us either. The second time she asked for our order as if we needed to hurry and not waste her time, again not thanking us. I like the food and atmosphere, but will probably choose to eat where the staff and customers are valued better.

I went into Season's today on the recommendation of two people who live in Sisters. The food was good. Served in a bit of disarray. I couldn't understand why I had a styrofoam bowl and a glass bowl and plastic utensils, on a plastic tray with a piece of parchment on it. The menu had me questioning what I was ordering. Is this a salad or a sandwich. They didn't have a combo plate on the menu. Really? You're a cafe that serves soups, salads and sandwiches. The salad was interesting to eat. Huge pieces of lettuce overflowing out of the bowl. It was challenging. There was some disgustingly soggy pieces of spinach in the salad. I ordered a cup of soup and got a bowl. The staff was just cool towards me. They were friendly with their regulars, who happened to be in front of and behind me. I was kind of forgotten. I was not greeted with a "hello, can I take your order?" or any other question that would have let me know who was going to be taking my order. It was clear by my saying "I've never been here" that I was looking for a tidge of what the norm would be. I got nothing. I was not told about seating outside. It would have been nice to sit outside on a great day. In a day when I want to spend my money wisely, not frivolously, I want to be wowed. I definitely was not wowed. I think we live in a society that just accepts what is given to us. I do not. I expect that if I give you my money, you will make my experience one I want to repeat. I know some of you are thinking that this is a harsh review for a cafe. I ask you, where do you start demanding great service? Do you wait until you go spend $300 on a dinner? I don't. I expect it from everyone. We all have it in use to give great service. Don't hire lazy people who don't want to wow your customers. Make people want to come back to your place of business.

Good food, staff was nice, back patio was great for eating at in summer.

Killer sandwiches!

The food is good, great sandwiches, and I like to stop here when I'm going through Sisters. However, I have to agree about the limited warmth of the staff. It's odd to smile at the staff and not receive one in return. Indifference may be the best description. For that reason, I order 'to go'. It's a shame. Just smile at your customers, it can make all the difference for you and them. "Be kinder than necessary, everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
