very helpful staff. couldn't find what i was looking for anywhere else in eugene (maybe not all of eugene, but i wasnt on a mission). called hunky dory and wow they had it and not only had it offered to hold it until i was able to get in. just for that im gonna go back many times in the future. i dont see how there can be bad remarks when everyone in there was verrry helpful.
I gave up waiting for the end of a lengthy personal conversation between staff and some of their friends hanging out in the store nd asked for help (since no help had been offered). With obvious reluctance, one of the young ladies tore herself away from her chat and proceeded to ''help'' me by telling me I was ignorant about what I wanted to buy. Since I've been using the item I was looking for since about 1968 (about 30 years before the clerk was even born), I can't say I appreciated her comments. All in all, I wouldn't go back to this store. The staff there clearly pick and choose which customers to treat with civility and which customers to treat like unwanted visitors :( Too bad, because they have a really nice selection of supplies.
mmmm hookah :) They carry coconara, the only coals worth using. Nice selection of shisha. Friendly staff.
Place is par exxx. You want it they have it. Been here in Eugene since the Stone Age. And for good reasons.
