I ordered a mixer from the Kitchen aid outlet on 8/9/2014. Two weeks later I contact customer service and was told my mixer should ship next week. That next week went by and no shipment, I contacted customer service again and requested to cancel my order but they refused because they lost my mixer in their warehouse. 5 weeks after I ordered my mixer and 2 weeks after I asked them to cancel my order they shipped my order. I refused delivery and now am waiting to receive a credit to my account. I am at a loss for how ineffective their customer service it, they can't cancel orders, or credit accounts.
Impossible to get service. The store phone is NEVER answered!

I found the Greenville Kitchenaid store very frustrating. I tried calling ahead of time to verify that they do repairs at the Greenvill, OH store and all I could do was leave a message on the answering maching. It was impossible to speak with someone live. The answering machine said they do repairs M-F 8am-5pm, so after no one returned my calls, I drove the 30 miles to the store only to be greeted by a sales woman that was not very happy or very helpful. She informed me they do not do repairs contrary to their answering machine, and told me to call customer service. The customer service rep was very helpful and I love kitchenaid products but would not return to the Greenville, OH store.
My Kitchenaid Toaster Oven died at 14 months.. This was 2 months past the 1 year contract. Kitchenaid sent me a new unit in just a few days after calling them and with no out of pocket expense to me. I purchased the toaster oven at Macy's in California. Kitchenaid is GREAT!
