Broadway Pub

The waitress was spilled half a glass of lemonade on me and did not apologize or even get me a rag to clean it up. The food was overpriced and not that good.
The pepper wontons here are awesome, I highly recommend them. They've also got a fine selection of beer. Looking forward to more visits to this fine establishment!
My boyfriend and I could not decide where to eat on a Sat. night in Granville and the Broadway Pub looked pretty good. I wanted to watch the ND game, so we had to have a place with a TV. The restaurant is very clean and the bartender was more than happy to turn the TV channel for me. Our server wasn't bad, young guy who could have used a few more training sessions, actually a lot more training sessions, but the food was good. Their menu has too many items on it. Took us forever to decide what we wanted. It was like nothing ***really*** stood out to us. We had the pepper wantons and the spin and art dip (they didn't come out together like they should have, but that was okay, we were taking our time). I got the red pepper hummus and the house salad for dinner. The hummus is pretty good, has a nice bite to it and a lovely lemon aftertaste. What I really liked about the hummus is that they served the correct kinda pita with it and it was perfectly warm! My BF had the meatloaf sandwich, and he thought it was very good. The skillet corn didn't have much taste, though. I would go back again, but only after I try the other places in Granville out. Oh good beer selection too! And they have decent wine, as well.
Their vodka is the best in town! Stop in today!
This place has been my favorite hangout in Granville for years, even before they got a liquor license. Since their inception, they've had superior food, especially their reuben, which is by far the best in town. Nowadays they maintain their reputation, with a great liquor selection (far better than brews, which only has that hellish, bare-bones noise-hole on the 3rd story), around 10 fine beers on tap, and a diverse, quality menu. Standouts include (besides the aforementioned reuben) the chicken tenders, which are unusually (and delightfully) juicy and tender, the beef stroganoff, which is served on an ample bed of mashed potatoes, and the fish and chips, which is portioned very generously. All of this great food is served with friendly, charming, down-to-earth service by friendly, charming, down-to-earth employees. Whenever you are in Granville, be sure to stop by this casual, delightful joint!
