I really want to love this place, but it has its problems. We have been to this restaurant twice in recent years, and recently went there twice in two weeks: the first time in an attempt to use a Groupon, and the second time to use the Groupon we weren't allowed to use the first time because it was excluded from use on Saturdays. The restaurant itself is cold in the winter - the windows that are on the front of the restaurant are not well insulated and project cold. We had to wear our coats sitting in a booth. The next time we visited, we asked to be seated in the tables that are not next to the windows, but you could still feel a layer of cold coming from that side of the restaurant. Beer selection is pretty slim - they list 4 beers on draft, and the selections are not always inspiring. Not great for a place that considers itself a brew friendly place. The food has been a bit uneven and lackluster in our two visits. I ordered the pulled pork platter, as BBQ is the other half of this restaurant's supposed strengths. The sauce they use is pretty good, and the portion is huge. My first visit the pork was overcooked, with some portions dried out and crunchy, but the sauce was so good I powered right through that. The second visit's platter was cooked much better, but this time I found a significant amount of fat pieces that I had to weed out of the pork. Still tasted pretty good. For sides, avoid the baked beans - they aren't good. The mashed potatoes are much better. The staff has been competent when we've been there, but the place has been lightly attended so they aren't overwhelmed or stressed, which can cause issues as pointed out by other reviewers. Bottom line: while I wasn't necessarily unhappy with any one thing other than the temperatures in the restaurant, I can't point at anything that compels me to return.

After hearing some good reviews we decided to give Brunswick bbq and Brew a try and I had one of the worst dining experiences in my life! The service was terrible!! Our waitress took our drink orders and disappeared. Shortly after we (finally) got our drinks a large table was seated behind us. We waited about 45 minutes for appetizers and salads and when we saw the large group behind us (who had arrived after we ordered) being served, we got up and searched for our waitress to ask what was going on. She brought the food out within 10 minutes of us asking which made me start to wonder if it was just sitting back in the kitchen waiting for us to inquire about it. Upon bringing our starters she stared offering us all kinds of free items off the menu but we declined as we really just wanted we had ordered. Our waitress rather rudely told us that orders were served in the order they were given to the kitchen which didn't make a lot of since to us as we had just seen a table that came in after us served. Then we waited some more...about 30 min. and then the table behind us was being served their main courses- at this point our patience was running thin,we got up yet again to find our waitress who was hiding in the kitchen and sent out another waitress to talk to us. That waitress said " that's just how long your food takes, stop looking at other tables who ordered different menu items", completely unapologetic. We asked to speak to a manager and were told there was no one in charge there to talk to...kind of bad idea to have "no one in charge". Then we threw in the towel we got up to tell the waitress( not ours as she never reappeared out of the kitchen) that we were leaving. The waitress literally laughed at us and said "sorry you're unhappy" and as we were leaving I heard her say " must be nice to get a free meal". FREE MEAL ?!? she should know better than anyone we didn't have any kind of meal free or otherwise. It was hard for me not to go in there and sock her in her face being so rude! I have worked in the restaurant industry and am very forgiving with waitresses and kitchens staff- I'm no tyrant, but I could not believe the way these people behaved! I will never NEVER go back!

World class Burgers and outdoor grilled foods with the best selection of craft beer anywhere near the Berkshires. The outdoor seating has probably the nicest scenery of anyplace I've ever eaten! Quacken Kill, a nice trout sized little river runs right next to the patio area with a beautiful horse farm on the other side with freshly painted barns and fences and a dozen or two gorgeous horses grazing in the lush green pastures.
