I knew this was going to be a good restaurant for me, when I saw a poster on the door that said no unruly children are allowed and there was a minimum dress code. This would be my first time in a business type restaurant, and a great first experience. For our dinner experience, we had a choice of two menus to look through. A dinner menu and a pub menu, the pub menu seems to be more tavern type for so I kept to the dinner menu. The wait staff was courteous, efficient, very business like but friendly. They were great on refills and taking dishes away, our waitress, Angela, was very good. I had the BBQ Chicken Chowder which was a little on the spicy side, but delicious. For my main dish I picked the Grilled Garlic Platter, which consisted of scallops, chicken, and shrimp all grilled in a garlic sauce. It was absolutely succulent! It came with wild rice and asparagus sides, and the rice was so good. It absorbed the garlic sauce, and made it as smooth as butter. Finally I picked the Banana Eggrolls, which were egg rolls filled with a banana cheesecake mixture. Oh man, that was a good dish to end on. I am definitely coming back!
my wife and I have been there many times... always treated well good service with great food
The staff is friendly, the ambiance is cozy, and the food is delicious. The chef is enjoying himself, experimenting with some great grub. This is the hidden gem of Waterford, don't miss it!
I've been there half a dozen times and never a bad meal and never the same one twice. Priced right as well as portioning with a pub and dinner menu. I've never had a problem with service and the staff is very friendly.
It's ok but it's overpriced and snobbish bartenders.
