An update, visited Columbus Day weekend....Horrible food. Had the Chicken Biryani...took some time to actually find meat in the bottom of the bowl, pretty sure it was chicken, and rice way overcooked, been stewing all day. It's a real shame
I do not usually review but the awful experience here made me to share my opinion. The food was good but was expensive. The price charged is too high for the quantity served. Can get better food in other Indian restaurants for same price. We we charged Veg Pakoda ($4.95), Shahi Panir ($13.95), Chicken Tikka Masala ($15.95), Goat Jalfrezi ($16.95), Roti ($2.95x2), Sweet Lassi ($3.95x3), Gratuity ($11.27). All curries comes with rice. So for three curries they first served one rice only. When asked rice for other two curries, they served another one rice only. So we asked to make togo box for the 3rd rice along with other items and they charged $4.24 for the rice. We then asked why they are charging for that when it is supposed to be served with third curry, they then said will adjust the bill. So altogether they charged $86.40 including tax which was way to high. Then we asked to split the amount to three and charge two on one credit card and third on another credit card. They then said the minimum is $40 to accept payment on card. This was awful and ripped us if front of our eyes. Hope this review will be helpful for others who plan to visit this restaurant.
Great restaurant, good food, Great Service, I don't know what these people are talking about they all must have alot of free time. Its a really really nice restaurant with outside seating looking at the Lake. Food was exceptional, Large portions Fresh and soft naan, I had the Chicken Curry it was very tasty enough that there was none left. They offer Hookah as well. A hookah bar over looking lake george There price was really reasonable it was $15.00 for the four of us. I under stand other peoples reviews, I don't think any of them know about good food and great service. I think everyone who wrote a review owns a restaurant lol.
I am not usually a reviewer but this was possibly our worst experience so far in Lake George. It started with the water...it tasted like it has been sitting for weeks or maybe even flown over directly from the Ganges. The food was good but it has been spoiled by possibly the worst customer service and etiquette I have experienced; especially being trained by a Culinary Institute of America graduate. We specifically ordered a dish that was listed on the menu as $9.95. When we went to pay they jacked it up $3 from what was listed on the menu. When I asked about it they said they changed the price and were waiting for the "reprinted" menus. This was after the fact. They guy proceeded to argue with us and didn't seem to care about our satisfaction or if we would care to return. Restaurant management 101; the customer is always right! It was not even so much the 3 bux but how he handled it. Every time we go by this place it is empty or maybe one table and one time they practically begged us to come in.It seems like other people have had awful experiences; even worse than ours!. Don't waste your hard earned money. There are definitely other options in Lake George!
This was awful! they rip us of in front of our eyes. We waited 25 minutes for water and plates. then another 15 minutes for our appetizers. Food tasted bad and they charged us doubled the menu price. rude staff and awful service. Don't go there
