Great atmosphere, great food, good drinks. Had the steak enchilada special with goat cheese and it was superb. A little more pricey than other mexican joints in the hudson valley, but well worth it.
Taking my bookkeeper out as a reward turned into a nightmare. Dinner on 6/30 tuned into bed rest on 7/1. I tried several items from the special menu and my guest the taco salad. The food was tasty BUT anything that was related to salad had a dressing from Hell. So hot it burned the lips. With a stomach recovering from Doxy, this was the last thing I needed. I dont mind heat, but this was killer. George Ihlenburg
Heard about this restaurant for awhile and finally made it there Sunday. I was very disappointed. Husband had steak fajitas (meat tough .... thought there would be peppers & onions - but corn, squash and other veggies)... not worth the hour ride. Beef taco good.
I've gone four times for dinner over the last two years, each time hoping that the time before was just an off night for them. The place seems fun and cheery from the outside, and the food LOOKS delicious on your plate, with decent portions, but everything tastes about the same regardless of what you order - overpriced bland. Tex-Mex at its worst. Perhaps the most annoying thing is that they charge $3 for corn chips and salsa. Chips and guac? $9. Both may be the only tasty items on the menu (the chips are homemade), and the Margaritas are excellent. So for a Margarita and chips I might go again, but have a meal elsewhere.
Beer cold great drinks!! My only complaint is with there carnitas, you get a great portion of food but the pork itself seems to be bland... A bit over priced for Bland Mexican food. Other than that a nice place to enjoy a few drinks and stay cool.
