Mountainside Cafe is definitely a fave here in Catskill. Tara has a great menu, uses fresh, local ingredients and greets all her customers with a smile. Her staff is friendly, quick and knowledgable. My favorite is her Turkey Rueben for lunch, or anything on her delicious bagels for breakfast. Coffee is good & always fresh. And Tara recently redesigned the cafe so it has a warm friendly feel, and her retail things for purchase are easily accessible. Love this place...4 stars!
I LOVE this place!!! What a great little hidden breakfast and lunch spot. The food is amazing, The coffee is excellent and the staff is always smiling.
This place sucks. If I could give a lower rating than 1 star I would. The food is adequate if you are starving and have no other choice, the service although friendly in nature is only a mask for an inexperienced and unprofessional staff. The latte's and other espresso drinks are also a joke. It takes quite a while to get your beverage and it does not provide you with an adequate "specialty coffee" experience. I for one will never return here and I will not suggest this place to anyone in the future. I would rather deal with the dingy deli across the street.
