Three Brothers Wineries and Estates
Reviews
Pretty cool place. The beer is good (though nothing spectacular), and the service is great! Try the Riesling beer - you'll be hard pressed to find another. They are among the many places in the finger lakes region that require reservations for buses/limos. I was told elsewhere that such policies are a reaction to a group of drunken idiots who decided to assault a winery employee a few years ago. Whether or not that's true, I'm certainly glad this place proactively manages the inflow of patrons to help ensure everyone can enjoy their experience by minimizing the presence of obnoxious drunks who are out to get hammered with their friends rather than learn about the businesses and communities they patronize.
Three Brothers is more theme park than winery. Look at the photos, and you'll see what I mean. Other visitors seemed to be having a great time when I visited on October 4, but this is simply not my kind of place.
We visited the Three Brothers Winery for the Winestock 2013 and had a blast! Got to taste a lot of great wines not only from Three Brothers but all the other wineries and the cost was only $18 a person. Got a nice glass to take home as well as a bag and other goodies. Lots of people there but we had no problem getting waited on and the people giving samples were friendly....we really enjoyed ourselves. Family came in from Virginia and that was a highlight of their visit.
Loved it here! Of all the wineries visited on our trip, this one is a 'must return again'.
Stopped by here on a whim. They were close to closing time, but stayed 10 mins later then they were supposed to so we could finish our tasting. The wine was really good- as other reviewers said, it was pretty sweet so you will probably not like it if you like a dry wine. `
