Pascale Restaurant

My wife and I love to go here on Friday or Saturday night. Bartenders are friendly and Chuck walks around and talks to all of the guests. Nice atmosphere and good food. The menu changes seasonally, always containing daily fish, risotto, and flatbread pizza specials. If you want to go when it's quiet, a Thursday night is usually slower and you can carry a good conversation with your dining partners, without having to scream over music or over the table next to you.
My husband and I had dinner there last night. It was a friendly bar and we even shared pleasantries with our neighboring diners. I had the filet and he had the sea bass - scrumptious! But we didn't have room for the dessert and brought it home. I tasted it...a bete noir...it was incredible! The whole experience was delightful and we look forward to going back for more good times and great food!
We had our engagement dinner here on Friday night and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They helped us set up a surprise at dinner with our-of-town family and friends visiting for the occasion. Unexpected traffic and late arrival did not alter their attention to detail for our party. The food was delicious and service was very attentive. Would recommend the filet or steak frites to anyone who enjoys a good steak. If you need a first-rate meal for any occasion - then Pascale's should be your choice.
I am extremely surprised about the good rating this place has received. The quality of the food is the same you can expect at a place like Outback. Very overpriced, indeed, and the service made me feel I was being rushed. I am, definately, not returning to this place. A diner is friendlier and has the same quality. Here you pay for "ambiance" only, so if that meets your requirements, then by all means.
