I go here anytime I have family in from out of town and they want to try great New Mexican breakfast! I'm a local and I love this place! The only thing I don't like is they close at 2pm!
The food was ok, but that was the ONLY redeeming quality about this hole of a place. The service sucked. My wife and I went in to eat about 45 minutes before they closed. We were one of only about 3 couples there. Instead of being seated in the front area with the rest of the (earlier arriving) couples, we were put in the back room. Our food was not even served, and the crew began preparing for the next day. Huge tubs of silverware were dumped on the tables next to us, making an awful noise, and two to three employees sat and began to roll silverware. That was bad enough. But the employees were yelling from table to table, cursing, and generally showing no regard for customers. I would have said something to the manager, but she was there, serving us, and completely aware of the goings on. It shouldn't matter if I come in when they open, or 3 minutes before closing, customers should be treated as if they are valued. I will wait til I am back up in Albuquerque before going to Weck's again. This location should be closed.
For me the service is good. And I look young so I am used to getting treated like I won't tip my waiter. But these guys are actually cool and the whole wait staff stops and checks on the tables. It doesn't matter if they aren't assigned to your table. Food is good. I wish they were open all day.
Food is great!! Good service and cool decor!! Huevos Rancheros Is the best!
Food is ok. Big portions but I personally think its over priced. No prices posted on menus.
