Verve makes you feel comfortably at home in a relaxing French bistro ambiance with jazz tunes and some very unique artwork and decor. Outstanding, creatively crafted seasonal gourmet food and drinks are served by the most professional and knowledgeable staff in the area. Truly a fine dining experience! Great for a romantic dinner or special celebration. Best bar in Somerville!
Verve is definitely a surprise considering it's outward appearance is nothing spectacular and most of the food options in the area aren't of the higher end. From start to finish, the experience rivals that of most upper priced restaurants in NYC. Service was excellent, food was well plated and delectable and the atmosphere was great. Honestly, my only complaint was that it was a bit on the higher end of cost considering the area, but it is mostly justified. If you are going with friends who are foodies, this is the place to go in the area. That or a very nice date. However, if you are just looking to hang out, you may be better served to go elsewhere as this sort of experience maybe lost on some. I definitely recommend Verve and would come again.
