HYATT house Branchburg

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly, beds are comfortable rooms are a good size and clean. The breakfast buffet is deplorable, old dried out food, under cooked eggs, cold uncooked oatmeal, dirty sticky tongs for bread at 7:15 am 15 minutes after opening. I poured myself a glass of water and it had a white slime in the water. A $25.00 charge was added for our bill that is not on the checkout receipt and there is no explanation for it. Unless this is resolved we will not be back.
Very nice and comfortable. Staff are excellent and friendly. Need only upgrading of their HVAC equipment, that are a little noisy
The staff is friendly, but unfortunately, the management is clueless. They had an issue processing my credit card and the cards of several coworkers-- I paid, but the cost didn't appear on my credit card bill. Despite multiple conversations with multiple managers (each of whom give me a slightly different variation of the problem and projected finish date), I'm still waiting for a resolution 4 weeks later. The hotel itself is nice, and I've stayed here several other times with no problems. It's a shame when one bad experience overshadows any positive one.
Used to stay here a lot... But not anymore! They have a beautiful place but i guess keeping this place up to date after so many years is not in their hands! Some of the rooms have this pungent stale smell, the paint on the ceiling is chiping off. During my last stay, there was another guest who was complaining about some sort of bed bugs in the room. She also had small bites on her leg! The lady at the front desk was so arrogant and did not even apologize. All she kept on saying was that you might have got these from somewhere else. The old lady would not lie! Those seemed like fresh bites! Never coming back again! You guys lost alot of respect from me! SHAME ON YOU!!
The Sierra Suites in Branchburg offers a great mix of conveniences for 3-4 business stays in the Raritan/Somerville area. The rooms are comfortable and the staff greets the traveler (usually after a mind-boggling airline delay in Newark) with a complementary bottle of water and a snack. The complete kitchenette is useful for solo meals after late days, or, the pool barbecue area can accommodate a group. Free wireless access is available throughout the hotel and pool area. There is a 24 hour gym (somewhat small, but with the basics) and laundromat. For the business traveler, everything is included in the basic room rate: from breakfast to happy hour to Internet to the business center. It's a fair pricing system that keeps you from having to classify hundreds of hotel charges on your expense report. This is one of my favored suites hotels in the area.
