I have been going here for ten years and it was always decent. The ticket prices were reasonable but any food or drinks were always grossly overpriced and terrible quality. I went this Friday for the Halestorm show, and I would just love to know why I had to pay $7 for parking, which was always FREE??? Not only did I pay $7 of BULLSHIT, but I didn't even get to park on the property! I had to park in the lot next door which had NO LIGHTING WHATSOEVER and was unevenly paved. So while trying to not get raped and/or murdered or hit by a car in the pitch black lot we also had to watch out for rusty metal scraps and ditches to twist our ankles in and try to walk along side of the road which had no sidewalks or shoulder lane.You spent all this time renovating and all you did was tear up the floor and move the bar to some rickety table near the merch stand. Starland is a joke anymore. I wouldn't go again even if the tickets were free. You've gotten my money for at least 10 years...you won't be getting any more.
Went to see Wiz Khalifa on 11/19. Its a fantastic venue with incredible sound. Great prices for local entertainment. Wiz is an awesome performer too! I've seen Chris Brown here n the past. Love the up close and personal experience .Looking forward to French Montana Dec 4th

Parking lot people are arrogant pricks. Security is arrogant pricks. Really young crowd, always. Oversold shows, filled with arrogant pricks. Go here if you like arrogant pricks.
Starland is great because... 1. they have nice staff 2. they care about security 3. they have parking 4. the venue is not in the middle of a ghetto 5. they serve pizza 6. their sound quality is amazing 7. they have toilet paper and soap in their bathrooms 8. they have multiple bars 9. they have tvs set up so everyone can see the show 10. the layout of the place is designed/thought out well 11. they answer their phones 12. they will answer questions you have, such as set times (very rare). 13. they're open when they say they will be 14. they came back from the dead.
