I used to frequent this Restaurant because I live nearby and thought the food was good. However, I was highly disappointed recently after I ordered some food to go, arrive to the restaurant 30min later and it was still not done, then arrive home to find the quality of the food to be of substantially lower standard than the one served in the restaurant, which speaks to consistency and quality standards. I ordered an Angus Beef burger and some boneless chicken wings. The wings were overcooked, and the burgers were clearly not Angus beef, but regular beef patty. Avoid this place.
Excellent food! One of the best pork tenderloins in a long time. Lovely place.
I was very disappointed went for a graduation dinner the room we were in was freezing, waited 3 hours to get my food let alone my appetizer for my small child to eat, when our food finally came one persons meal came up missing and another couldn't get what they ordered because they ran out and then the manager came in and couldn't understand why we were upset and had a major attitude. Unfortunately I will never return there again.
As a local, it makes us so sad that Bistro Nouveau does such a poor job. They always run out of the Wednesday specials so early that it is obvious that it is a bait an switch. In my several trips there, the service is very slow. I've waited over two hours for my entre without as much as a crust of bread being offered. When the food does arrive, it is often cold. To top it off, the prices are high when compared to anywhere around here. Bad food, high prices, and poor service. I tell everyone I know, this place is such a let down. There are so many good places to go in the area, but not Bistro Nouveau. Avoid this one and you are doing yourself a favor.
This from another local who has always experienced good service, good food, in a very pleasant setting. I've never written a review before, but I had to react to the negative review here. I recommend the restaurant to others and often take visitors and family there. Never disappointed. This restaurant is a valuable community resource and deserves our support.
