This place kinda sucks. It used to be decent but now it is dead all the time, the food sucks, service is bad and the employees are all rude. The bouncers act like they are hoping to start more trouble than to stop any. A bunch of meatheads (mostly football players) that want to show off how tough they are. I remember a while ago they all ganged up on some drunk kid that wanted to come in, a bouncer shoved him to the ground so hard they cracked his head open and gave him brain damage. (fact) It's no surprise since the owner acts like a jerk to customers as well. I think his name was James or Jay. Middle aged pudgy little guy with a loud mouth. The last couple times we got food it was mediocre at best and not very cheap either. Don't eat there anymore. The place itself has the atmosphere of a hotel lobby and the rug smells like puke. The only time anyone goes there is when they do one dollar drinks. Which they have to do to get anyone in there anymore. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself. I promise you will agree.

Normal town food. Nothing amazing. Pretty well priced. Kind of boring.

I went there the other night, I am a college student. I was drinking and so was my girlfriend and she tripped over some one and was asked to leave. This was because she was "to drunk". She was fine as sober as a bird, had three drinks, far less than the other people in there. We were told by a man named Ben that she was too drunk he knows my girlfriend from freshman year he was one of the kids who dealt weed on her floor of stoke hall. We left but came back, since we where not intoxicated. The man who my girlfriend knew (Ben) came down with two other employees to ask us to leave. In leaving I was waring a kilt, (a Scottish traditional dress) I was told "nice skirt". This is clear discrimination since this is a traditional dress of Scotland. This place has good food but if you are going for the night life, unless you are a sober walking drunk move on plus do not expect to fell exception about what you are waring. I never had a negative comment about what I was waring all night till one employe made fun of it. Everyone will sway this way and that under the influence of alcohol. the chemical affects of alcohol cause this. This place clearly needs to rethink the people it hires. There is a difference between intoxicated and tripping over some one.

Libby's is the place to be when University of NH is in full drinking mode but it is not the place to use a credit card. If you plan on opening up a tab think twice because at the end of the night you will find a few extra drinks on your tab (perhaps you were paying for the drinks of the bartender's friends). if you do make the mistake of keeping a tab open or even using plastic to pay for you dinner at the bar make sure you clearly write your tip and total. it is not uncommon to see some extra charges on your credit card. keep your recipt. the bartenders make out like bandits in this place because all the have to say in their defense is "ohhh that guy has a few too many to drink" CASH ONLY!!!!!!

Food was dry and served cold. Owner I believe his name is Mike, was very short and very rude with myself and my guests that accompanied me. You work hard for your money and this place does not work hard not do their fair share to get it.
