The only reason that I gave Billiards 1 star is because it is the only pool hall we have here in Fargo. I have been frequenting Billiards in south Fargo since the day that it opened. From the beginning, the service I have had has been TERRIBLE. And on the rare occasion that the service has been mediocre, there has always been a food item that they are "out of" in the kitchen. The only reason I have continued to go back is because I like to play pool and the atmosphere is nice. However, walk in any time of the day and you will see several staff standing around the bar talking rather than tending to their customers. After the service my boyfriend and I received last night, I will never give Billiards my business again. We arrived at about 5:45-6:00 pm and walked into the bar and seated ourselves. Once again, there were several staff standing around the computers at the bar chatting. Nobody looked at us to greet us, nor did anybody come to our table and ask us if we needed anything. 2-3 servers walked past me and made eye contact with me to only quickly look down at the floor and keep walking by. This included the manager who had what looked like a trainee following her. After about 15 minutes, my boyfriend reluctantly went to the bar to order a drink while I remained at the table. During that time, servers continued to walk past me without asking if I needed anything. The party at the table next to us, who had arrived 5-10 minutes after us, was approached by a server who asked if they would like drinks. She never even looked at me. My boyfriend returned to our table with our drinks from the bar and we continued to sit there and try to make eye contact with someone to ask for menus. After about 5 more minutes, my boyfriend went back up to the bar to ask for menus. We had been looking at our menus for a few minutes when a server FINALLY came to our table and asked, "How are you tonight?" I looked at her politely and said, "We are ok. We had to go to the bar to get drinks and menus because nobody has been to our table at all since we got here." Rather than apologizing, she started to make excuses of how they were understaffed and it was busy. At that time, there were still servers standing around the bar doing absolutely nothing but chatting with each other. After a few more minutes of looking at the menu, my boyfriend and I decided to leave because we did not want to give Billiards any more business when they clearly do not care about their customers. Very disappointing.

the servers at billards are rude! and dont have a clue about customer service!! I had a horrible waitress one night and she was so bad and rude !# I just asked for my check and told them all they are F'n rude! and id never go back there ever!!

I love the Fargo Billiards Hall! I really enjoy the VIP players that visit, like Shane!

My wife and I went to the Gastropub last night for date night. This was our first time in there and a first we were impressed. She ordered the Jamican Jerk Chicken Wrap with fries-at first she just thought it was a little too sweet until half way thru the first part it was starting to make her sick. She couldnt eat anymore. Instead of crediting her meal, they just credited a drink and when the waitress came over to tell us that is when my wife when running to that bathroom to throw up. Instead of saying sorry or I will go talk to my manger the waitress actually said let me know when she is ready to pay. Seriously-she goes running past you to go throw up and you want us to still pay. Rude customer service. Never going back there again.

When I was younger and Billiards was on Broadway I was pretty much a permanent fixture so to say the least I was excited to see how Billiards had progressed into awesomeness. I could not believe the service. Took for ever to get a drink and then longer to pay for the drink so I could enjoy it. I ordered the most amazing burger and fries and was not disappointed in the quality of the food. The pool tables and quality of cues are what I would expect at a high class establishment. Very clean inside and out. Bottom line. They were over staffed and super slow service.
