I want to be clear upfront, that the food was good. However, our lunch here was ruined because they have a weird policy where if you share food with the person you're with, you're charged an extra $4. My boyfriend and I had lunch here - we bought drinks, I got a sandwich, he got soup. Of course the sandwiches are enormous, which is great, but I can't eat the whole thing, so gave half to my boyfriend. Lo and behold, our check at the end displays a 'sharing fee' of $4. To be fair, this policy IS listed on their menu, but I personally think it is absolutely disgusting to be charged more money based on who ordered and who ate the food. I also have a friend who ordered food to takeaway here and afterwards sat on one of the outside chairs waiting for her ride. She was asked to move since she wasn't a 'dine in' customer, although it was not busy and there were no other customers waiting for seats. -->They do have a list of rules for customers outside saying what you can or cannot do. Not very inviting or friendly! Its very disappointing that they act like this and don't provide a nice happy atmosphere for customers. The food is pretty good, but ultimated our lunch was ruined because we felt we'd been cheated, and my friend, who fully paid for her food, could not sit while she waited to be picked up.
Lunch today was great. Jalapeno Mac N Cheese was spot-on, the right amount of heat was there and the smoky flavor was present from the meat and cheese.
Best food in Wilmington.
We are still in the restaurant and I have to tell you this place is amazing. From the food to the service. Try it you will like it.
