The food has gone down hill, particularly for what they charge. This is a shame since Mooresville has very few decent restaurants and Jefferies was once a good restaurant. My wife and I stopped by the bar on Saturday night for a couple of appetizers and drinks. We ordered the beef tips and the calamari which were both poorly prepared. The calamari was heavily breaded to point of not being able to taste the squid and the beef tips were poorly butchered (looked more like scraps) and lacked any seasoning. On the up side Amelia the bartender is outstanding.
I have been working in Mooresville for several weeks and have eaten at Jeffrey's several times. Each time I have eaten at the bar area and have received very attentive service and the food is excellent. I would highly recommend it.
Food had good flavor, but my steak was cold. The service was absolutely horrific. I use to be a server for many years so I am rather laid back and understanding, but I could have gotten better service from McDonald's next door. Don't know our server's name, but she wore a ribbon in her hair. Worst. Service. Ever. Doubt I'll go back.
Contrary to most of the review the food at the Jeffrey's is not bad. However, it is not good enough for the price charge either. I would be hard pressed to recommend it, certainly not a first choice.
My go to place in Mooresville. Food is excellent and staff is very friendly.
