Visited Montana (from Los Angeles) for the Thanksgiving holidays, and glad I stopped at the Black Iron Grill. Went with a big group for dinner, including 5 little kids, and we all left very happy and full. I ordered the 1/4 Miles City Q (1/4 rotisserie chicken, brisket, ribs, sausage). The portions were generous, somehow there was way more food than I had anticipated. The brisket and ribs, which were very meaty, were tender, moist, and especially tasty with the accompanying BBQ sauce. The sausage was a little spicier than I can normally handle, but I ate almost all of it. The highlight of the plate was the rotisserie chicken. Several members of my group ordered the chicken, and they all thought it was amazing. It's so flavorful that it makes other rotisserie chickens I've had pale in comparison. The service was on point, and the layout was quite nice. We ate in the dining area, but the front bar area seemed to have a lot of beers on top and several huge screens with sports. Looking forward to trying out more menu items next time I'm in this part of Montana.
A nice atmosphere of Western iron and copper works, black leather and dark woods. The grill and the rotisserie are the main attractions. The lunch food is good. We had fish and chips, a bleu cheese burger, and a bbq brisket sandwich. We all had the signature truffle fries. All good.
I had lunch on Friday, December 12th, Blue Moon Beer and Beer Battered Fish. The service from David was superb as was the food.
Excellent food and atmosphere. We would highly recommend it.
Food and drinks too overpriced will not go back
