Wow. I feel like I read a million bad reviews of this place, but I went with a friend today and had a perfectly decent time. It was 3p on a Wednesday and wasn't very busy, so maybe that made the difference. This place is super unique and cool looking. It's set up like a cafe that had walls lined with unique food and cooking products - quarts of Serendipity, little cups of gelato, local sausage. You grab a menu, seat yourself and then go up to the counter to place your order. My friend ordered the brisket sandwich - this was one I read extremely mixed reviews about. But I thought it looked good and she said it tasted delicious! I asked for some suggestions from the staff. Unfortunately their number one suggestion, the burger, was sold out. I was pretty bummed to hear that because I'm a huge burger fan. So instead I gave the turkey sandwich a try and it was perfectly nice. I gave a three out of five because I don't think I had an opportunity to really judge - I'd love to go back and try the burger and maybe one of their desserts.... :)
Beef brisket sandwich and torte rustica are my favorite dishes from this cozy quirky restaurant. I love that the food is locally sourced. This will definitely be a favorite for years to come.
Great atmosphere, menu, service, and very flavorful food. My brisket was a little dry, that's why I can't give them 5 stars, but it had tons of flavor. I am definitely going to go back and try some breakfast.
Great food. very fast.
And I just thought they did breakfast/lunch... I was wrong! :)
