In normal times this is a well-stocked, friendly and reasonably clean Middle Eastern grocery store. I had visited this place once before about a year ago, so I was surprised to return recently and find their shelves were half-bare and hardly stocked. The owner said he'd forgotten to fill out EBT paperwork and it cost him four months of EBT sales, and he had lost a great deal of business. Not to worry, he would soon be back in Food Stamp money because he'd filled out all the forms but what a terrible lesson to learn, he said. The loud middle eastern music is a bit much. But where else in that area can you get "goat cubes?" Those hairy little guys with horns don't cube THEMSELVES, you know.
