Great staff. Manager was polite and checked on us often. We told them we were in a hurry and they had us in and out in about a hour. Will go back for sure! Open face steak sandwich is to die for!

Awesome food
Boone's provides a wonderful total experience and is a great place to stop for lunch prior to wine tasting in the area. The atmosphere is great and the food tastes good enough that you don't care that it probably isn't that healthy. It has sort of a sports bar meets log cabin experience. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
We lunched here because someone gave it four stars. Food was average at best and service was disappointing. The waitress was curt; made us feel like our presence was imposing on her. Waited interminably for our check; finally went to the bar to get it where she was standing around chatting with other staff. It's the first place you pass entering town from the south. Keep going north, thru town, to the restaurant at The Vineyard Inn a couple of miles north of Suttons Bay. Nice folks, good food, good service and a beautiful setting.
