We went there to get a new rv. When we worked to pick up the new rv they were difficult to work with and wanted us to work around them and not pick it up on a Saturday. They sold it to us as 10'11" tall. When we got it home we found out it was 11'4". When we told them they made a mistake, both on there web sight and the brochure they gave us, they told us we had to pay to fix there mistake. The customer service was very poor. They replaced the A/C to make it short enough to fit my shop but it took them 2 weeks to get the job done. The people that I worked with did not return calls very well and they also didn't tell us the camper was ready until I called them. I would not recommend them to anyone.

This place is really above and beyond the rest. We bought a cheapy RV here and during the inspection on it, I was pointing out a bunch of tiny things like door stoppers, broken tracks, etc... and they went through and fixed ALL of them FOR FREE without making a peep about it. Every time I call them about something they are friendly and take care of me even though I only gave them $3k in sales from my cheapy used RV. I will continue to buy from them in the future! The store prices are a bit high, but if you are in a pinch, the convenience is nice.

For those of us who are writers at Amelia West Travel, getting knowledgeable information is very important to us. We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent customer service, the friendly staff and how helpful everyone at the Lakeshore RV Center was. As travel writers, we spend lots of time digging for information that helps our readers make trip planning easier, and the folks at Lakeshore RV couldn't have been better at helping us get the right information about RVs, about traveling in RVs, and they were so patient in answering all of our questions. We're journalists, so believe us...we asked LOTS of questions, and they answered every single question, even the ones about RVing with pets. They knew it all...the kinds of dream RV features we would WANT and they helped us sort out the kinds of RV features we would actually NEED. For anyone in the market for a new or used RV, we all agree that hitting up the sales pros at Lakeshore is your best bet for getting the best kind of RV deal you are after. They were honest, friendly and they even provide a blog that open to everyone that has free tips and information about issues related to the RV industry. We loved meeting everyone at Lakeshore RV and we were very impressed with their commitment to creating family vacation memories.

Lakeshore RV is great, you start out saving money because they make a point of being so competitive so you don't have to work the deal like some other dealerships to get a deal. You get a low price up front. Their sales people have as much as 20 years experience or more so they are not a new budget dealer, they can answer your detailed questions and have a web site with an awful lot of information. I liked that I could see in their reviews that they had sold in my area. With the money I saved I made sure I had an extended warranty and was still saving money, this gives me more flexibility in where I have my RV serviced. I've heard stories of local dealers playing games if they didn't originally sell you the unit but the extended warranty simplifies this and gives me more service choices. Most people are going to be at a distance from Lakeshore and while they make it easy. Some things like license transfers take a little bit between states but have patience and you'll save thousands with these guys.
