We were extremely impressed with the service and knowledge of your staff from Glen Smith who helped educate us about snow shoes and winter gear to the great service at the check out. This was our first experience in Gander Mountain. We will be back for any future needs. :)
This place is horrible, i've been there several times and have gotten ZERO service.... You can wait all day and no one will even bat an eye at you. People will sit behind the gun counter, while your looking at the gun sections... If you want to get ignored and treated like your not even there then this is the place for you.... Save your time and go a few miles up the road to Cabelas
Not very many staff around to assist, and overall atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. It was also difficult to find prices sometimes. On the plus side, they do have a pretty good selection of gear.
What an experience! While a very nice employee (Daniella) was running the paperwork on my gun purchase, one of their cashiers collapsed and started gasping for breath. Daniella was the calmest person I have ever seen. She jogged over and helped the cashier, directed someone to call 911, someone else to contact the cashier's parents, and helped rearrange the staff to maintain service to the customers. In general, she kept everyone from flying off the handle. When I left she smiled and wished me a good evening. I am still shaking as I type this. When I got home I called the store and Daniella told me that the cashier is doing fine. I hope that Daniella's boss reads this. You have a fantastic team member in Daniella!
Love this store they always have what I am looking for.
