Laid back and dog friendly. Bartenders very hospitable. Sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. Good selection of beer. Would return.
I was drinking in there and having a good time. Then the bartender cut me off before I even had a buzz. It is because I was from Missouri and had an accent. Do not go there. I played pool for any hour and drink about 4 glasses of water. I went outside with the water to smoke and she came outside and grabbed the drink out of my hand and said I could not have it out there. This is the worst I have ever been treated in my life. Do not go to this bar if you are not from Gaylord, Michigan. They are extremely discrimitave against people from out of town. Do not go here! I will never go back there in my life and anyone I run into I will tell them to NOT go to this place. There were several local people taking shot after shot and being loud and obnoxious, but after drinking water for an hour and playing pool, she wouldn't even give me another drink.
It's a nice place to have some drinks with the girls!
Mary's is a great place to hang with old friends & meet new ones.
