This is the kind of place to come when you visit town and want to have some good food and run into a few people from the past. Their ranch fries are awesome and they have good drinks. Used to come here all the time when I was going to cosmetology school in Flushing. It's never too packed but, always has enough going on it's a fun time!
Disappointing food, lazy and rude service, and ridiculous beer prices. The server/cook got very defensive when I questioned the $6 or $7 glass of Guinness on my check. I should have known something was wrong with this place when my dad and I were the only two customers on a Friday at lunchtime! Very sad to see a Flushing tradition fall so far from its past glory.
We heard that the burgers were good here so decided to take a drive. We ordered some burgers and the all you can eat fish. Friend order a beer and did not taste right so requested for a different one. Second beer was fine. The burgers were just fair nothing to write home about. The fish and chips were terrible. Service was dismal. House recipe ketchup was a big disappointment. Even though the burgers were not good. The ketchup made it even worse. Got the bill and the beer that was bad was not taken off. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
