Portland Pie Co. Portland

Delicious food! The lobster pizza had a nice blend of flavors. Service was a little slow (for extra drinks, getting the check, etc), but not bad. Very friendly staff. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Maine.

Great pizza, much better than average. Their specialty pizzas are very innovative and truly special. We love the shipyard. Feta cheese, garlic, broccoli, it's delicious. I recommend it. The nor'easter is also awesome with Buffalo chicken and blue cheese baked into the pizza. Very tasty. I haven't tried any of their other food but their pizza is awesome.

Amazing pizza, just super expensive. A large pepperoni pizza and a medium sausage one cost me over $30, even with a coupon. But damn, it was good.

I had great pizza here. PPC uses fresh mozzarella. It kinda got very loud at one point when the restaurant was full. I'll visit again if I go back to Portland

PPC does PIZZA the best -- everything else on their menu is OK. They feature their own flavorful, chewy doughs (basil, garlic, beer flavored, etc) and fresh-tasting ingredients. My favorite is the "Dead River" pizza with dollops of ricotta, seasoned hamburg & roasted red peppers. I've tried many of their apps (all OK) and more recently a calzone -- was skimpy on the added filling, was mostly sauce & ricotta, and the outside crust was slightly burned. Stick to the pizzas there. They do that best.
