David's Restaurant

For the price, it wasn't great. Their oysters were served with cocktail sauce which the menu described as something much more elegant. Overall this was a metaphor for everything we had: described as more elegant than the execution. I would have liked this place more if they weren't priced and positioned as an upscale fine dining establishment. The server was nice, but I wouldn't go back.

is that cry really really good cuz I want peace

Food was ok and waiter was courteous, but I was sitting for a long time with just a glass of water in front me. Most places place some bread or rolls on the table until your food is ready (don't mind paying for it). I have to watch my starch intake so asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular white potatoes, instead I got mashed sweet potato that looks like it came from a can, of course went back untouched. Not happy with my dining experience.

This place is an awesome restaurant if you're looking to have a fine dining experience and have some "not-so-fine dining" eaters with you. Davids marries fine dining and comfort food and it was fantastic. Simple and great menu top to bottom, wonderful atmosphere even if seating is limited and great service! We WILL be coming back whenever we're in town! Make reservations!

Not very large. Nice intimate atmosphere with pleasant decor. The food was outstanding. The Brie starter was fabulous (small, but the price was, I believe around $4.00) and just the right size for appetite stimulation. I had the salmon with the wasabi mashed potatoes and maple glaze. So very good. And, perfect creme brulee. Oh, and the oil with garlic for bread dipping was fab. Loved the place!!
