I HAVE BEEN WORKING UP HERE SINCE SEPTEMBER AND HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY EATING AT THIS PLACE SOMETIMES TWO AND THREE TIMES A WEEK. TONIGHT IM TOLD I CANT HAVE BUT ONLY TWO GLASSES OF ICED TEA NOT ONLY HAVE I BEEN EATING HERE BUT A LOT OF OUR CREW IT ONLY COST ABOUT .60 CENTS TO MAKE A GALLON OF TEA IF YOU CAN NOT AFFORD THAT THEN YOU REALLY NEED TO CLOSE YOUR DOORS . NONE OF OUR CREW WILL BE BACK AND THERE IS ABOUT 15 OF US SO I HOPE IT WAS WORTH IT TO YOU. NOT ONLY THAT BUT SOME OF OUR CREW HAS BEEN OVER CHARGED FOR BEER THAT THEY DID NOT EVEN DRINK BUT WE LET IT SLIDE BUT TONIGHT THE STRAW BROKE THE CAMELS BACK
the staff are great, the place is great, love love love the clam chowder, but I think they buy frozen fries and stuff, would be better homemade!
The Scootic is THE place to go in Millinocket. You will always run into friends and family here, cause this is where the locals go. I don't know why it is designated an Italian restaurant, they do everything from pizza to burgers to seafood here, and they do it all well. Busy or slow, the food is always cooked to perfection. Nice to find a place that doesn't cut corners during 'rush' periods. Waitstaff is fast and friendly, owner is usually on-premise.
Went there in August, perfect food, friendly staff. Next time I'm in Maine, I will very likely go there again...
Food is good but the restaurant smells like a hamster cage.
