These guys serve a more traditional New York style pizza than the other places in town, and their sauce doesn't tend to be as sweet (something that seems to be pretty standard in The County). The crust is excellent, although if you order it with greasy ingredients, such as the pepperoni or the bacon, it can get soggy in the middle, but the ovens are nicely seasoned and the flavor is wonderful. Texture is fantastic. Ingredient-wise, you can get just about anything. My favorites include meatball, eggplant and banana peppers (chosen at a whim a year or so back but we love it), and a custom (they don't have this on the menu): chicken parmigiana. Basically it's the breaded chicken, sauce and mozzarella, but cut up and served on pizza instead of pasta. Absolutely fantastic. Ask them to put it on the menu! :-) Also recommend the chicken parmigiana straight, the eggplant rollatini, and the garlic knots (great appetizer). If you are a fan of Italian, then I highly recommend stopping in.
If you're "not from here" this is the place I highly suggest you go to for restaurant food. They actually want your business and treat you like a human being. We go here for Valentine's day every year and occasionally throughout the year. The food is good and the atmosphere is clean, warm, and cozy. The service is consistantly prompt and helpful. Their pricing is reasonable. You will NOT walk out of there hungry. There really isn't anything bad to say about the place...some of the seats are not cushioned (probably for snowmobilers)? It's a great place to get restaurant food.
Try Napolis Italian Resturant and Pizzeria in Caribou. Good food, friendly staff, and LIVE MUSIC on Thursday Nights. Finally something to do that doesnt require driving to Presque Isle or across the boarder. It reminds me of Wizards in PI on Thursty Thursdays, Ladies night. Its a good time, there are different performers every week (never gets boring with the same old same old). Thanks Kurt!
