Caribou Inn and Convention Center
Reviews
Highly recommend this hotel!!! My wife and I had planned on staying elsewhere for our trip but upon arriving at another hotel we decided right away we needed to find something else. I had already looked up the Cairbou Inn on the internet and saved the phone number. So, I gave them a call and the lady that answered the phone was very helpful and set us up with a room for our 4 day stay... The staff here was very friendly and helpful. If we ever have to travel here again we will definitely stay here.
After a 3 day stay I checked out and paid my bill .We were traveling the beautiful coast of Maine for the week. When we arrived home, I was reviewing my bank statement and notice a small charge of $5.00. It was minimal so I couldn't understand the charge. I decided to call and find out what the charge was for. After talking with the manager she stated it was for the lost of a hand towel. Really. We stayed at several hotels on our travel with no need of a hand towel... thank goodness it wasn't a pool towel ! We will stay @ the HAMPTON in the future !
Highly recommend! I had planned on staying elsewhere for my trip but upon arriving at another hotel I needed to find something else. The staff here is very welcoming and friendly ! I was having a problem with my key card they promptly got me another. The restaurant here is convenient.I found the rooms to be comfortable for my 4 day stay.Upon my departure I was concerned about how to print my boarding passes out .The front desk printed them right for me making things much easier for my depart.
My husband and I were so very comfortable and happy at this really nice, ultra clean inn. Our dinner in the lounge was delicious, reasonably priced and served in style by a barkeep who single-handedly ran the entire room with pizz-azz and good attention. My business keeps me in this part of Maine 4 times a year and I have never been disappointed. Oh, I am a wheat-free, vegan chef eater and I was able to enjoy delicious local fare. Thumbs up!
This hotel is terrible in all aspects. The rooms are very poorly decorated with old 60's furniture and verry uncomfortable beds. The TV's turn them selves off every half hour on theyr own to save power, making you ahve to turn it back on, find your channel again which is really annoying. I was in town to use one of theyr meeting spaces and was told i would have a "Quiet" space for a meeting. Their idea of quiet is placeing you next to a bar and lounge with bartenders shouting across the room to the customers, and kareokee so loud i could barely hear myself think. The management doesnt seem to care that they cant hold up theyr end of the deal and just leave you to deal with the unsatisfactory conditions. I highly recomend staying under a bridge by a river as opposed to staying at this rat hole.
