Love their breakfast! The french toast is my absolute favorite, its perfect every time! Also love the Prime Rib Night on Wednesdays and the Prime Rib Sandwich- so good!

Mt Airy Tavern was closed, so my parents and I tried this place while they were visiting for the day. Figured it was worth a try. Well, anyone else who is figuring the same, just say no. The place doesn't look bad, but the food and service sure is. Not one of our four meals was served hot (even the pizza). When we told the waiter, he asked us if we wanted him to heat it up...Haha. There was nothing we liked about the meals, except for the proportions. Asked for coffee, no coffee given. Waiter said he forgot; no apology. Then we sat and sat, waiting for him to come ask if we need anything else, like the check. The place wasn't even busy, but he struggled. When he finally came around, and we commented on the food and service, the prick said, with attitude, that he was "sorry for the crappy service, but I couldn't help it." He then walked away while we were talking. Came back with the check and still acted prick. I've never been to a restaurant where the waiter acted like he did. We should have talked to the manager, but we just wanted to get out of there, as my parents had a two hour drive home. Anyway, this turned out longer than I wanted it to be. Shows how unhappy I was with this place. Go to the Mt Airy Tavern. I love that place.

Great Food ----Terrible service On a recent trip, my wife and I had terrible experience with one server Stephani. We were seated at her booth around 7:25. We order an app, salad and pizza. All three items were brought out at the same time. We were not even done eating, and the check arrived. This was by 8:05. We emailed the restaurant to talk about the situation, but never heard back after 5 days. Needless to say, we are very disappointed in the customer service. We may go back, but will request not to be seated in her section.

While the food is not stellar, it's a nice place to eat with a good selection of beers. I've had 4-5 different dishes and found them to be a little bit more expensive than some of the other local places but not enough to discourage anyone from going. Breakfast and other meals are plentiful.

Very expensive... Food not good. Chicken Chesapeake... Chicken was overcooked and tough... Crab was basically just sauce very little crab.
