Always good beer, decent food and nice folks... we're so fortunate to have TBT around here.
I've never had a good experience when dining at the Brewmaster's Tavern. Knowing this, we'll go only as a last resort and it's so bad that we still end up regretting it. So at this point being continually disappointed we'll drive a town over to avoid this place. The food is standard to poor varying from plate to plate at prices that don't match what's served to you. My friend ordered nachos to go and was given a to-go container full of tortilla chips out of a bag with a separate container full of CHEEZ-WHIZ(!) Another time, I ordered the fondue plate...it was served with a tiny votive candle as the only source of heat for the cheese. Needless to say, it cooled off almost immediately. During the summer, we were seated outside at one of the picnic tables, we were left out there for 45 minutes after our meals were finished without a server visiting the table or offering the check. Like another reviewer stated it really is a shame how lousy the food is since the building and location are beautiful and of historical significance as well.
Great food and service
Great restaurant in a great town. Everyone is always very friendly and the food is excellent.
The fresh OPA-Opa beers were excellent and the ambiance was nice as well.
