Cobbler's Cafe
Reviews
Charming little cafe, good lattes, nice staff. Worth the tiny detour off of 65.
I ordered a Coffee Au Lait and it was more milk than I had expected but still good. Also had a blueberry muffin which was good also. The server kept going in the back and I had to go get her when I needed something so that was a bit annoying. Also a lot of the things on the menu weren't prepared that day so it was limited. It was decent but for the prices not worth it to me. I will not be returning.
Very good latte
I lived in Elizabethtown for nearly two years before trying the Cobbler's Cafe, as I had a hard time catching it when it was open, and often disregarded it. I've realized I shouldn't have passed this place up, it's a historic building that shows a bit of its 120 year history on the outside, but is a beautifully restored cafe on the inside that makes a great place to have a sandwich and coffee. The food is wonderful, with some southern specialities all home cooked and made perfect by the staff--however it can be hard to get some of the menu items in the afternoon; they often sell out during lunch. The portions are a good size and the prices are a bit high; however it's well worth it and definately worth a stop if you're passing through the area and looking for something local.
Neat, old shoe shop! Across the street from Court House! Good food!
