Meridy's Restaurant & Lounge
Reviews

My husband and I are waiting for a fuel pump to arrive in the next day or 2 and decided to enjoy the unexpected adventure the Lord put before us. We ventured over to Russell Kansas and had dinner at Meridy's. WOW, what a steak!! Bigger than Dallas and twice as tender. Our waitress Tracy, treated us like family! If you happen to be driving down I-70 and you want a great steak, breakfast, lunch or dinner, Meridy's is a must. I'm surprised that Guy Fieri has not stopped by on triple D's. Enjoy!

Walked in and it was obvious we were not from here and the people were amazing. Now the 80s look was more fun than anything else. We are coming from kansas city, MO heading to Denver and I wouldnt change tbis place a bit! Thank you town of Russell

INCREDIBLE!!! For what would be considered a "hole in the wall"...they hand hands down one the bests steaks we've had! The breakfast steak is 16oz...small ribeye is 22oz and the large is 32oz!!! Best stop we've made on our trip from Florida to Colorado!! A MUST TRY!!!

I'm from Omaha, land of steak, and there isn't any better steak for the money anywhere. Aged, hand cut ribeye, great quality, steaks. The "breakfast" steak is 18 oz of thick ribeye steak and it's enough to share. Friendly to boot!

We stopped for the night in Russell KS on a recent motorcycle trip and wanted/needed something to eat at dinner time. Obviously we preferred something close to the hotel so we found that Meridy's restaurant was right across the street. We love to try mom and pop places while we're out traveling so we decided to try Meridy's. What we found was better than average home cooked food such as Fried Chicken, Steaks and anything else Americana. It was exactly what we wanted and it was very good. Not great but really, really good. I would definitely eat there again and also recommend it to anyone else passing through Russell KS.
