SO DELICIOUS! The best wine I have EVER tasted. This is our new favorite hangout.
The wife and I stumbled across this place during a weekend trip to Southern Indiana. We loved it. All of the wines we tried, we liked, the staff was courteous and entertaining...and they had the best cheese-plate we've even had. Highly recommended.
We drove 156 miles just to buy some more of The Colonel's Legacy that we had came across at the Vintage Indiana wine fest. The "winery" was much more than we expected. I thought we were at the wrong address. The place is amazing. The atmosphere is very cool especially after the live acoustic music started. We only snacked on cheese while sipping on the Colonel and sampling a few others so I cannot speak to the quality of the food though everything looked good and smelled very good. We had a very good waiter and the place was jumping! We very much enjoyed our evening there and cannot wait to go back. We'll have to ration the 4 bottles we brought home.
a great mAeal very tasty I was told it is usually very busy.....we were there on a Sunday noon service was good but the noise level when it is busy is somewhat annoying. FOR UNIQUE TASTE AND INTERESTING CHOICES OF FOOD, GIVE RIVER WINERY A TRY a bit on the pricey side but it offers a wonderful blend of tastes
