Service was friendly but the pizza was the worst I have ever tasted. It really tasted like Jiffy pizza crust from the box. Bad pizza, good people.
We've eaten at Just Off The Brick Pizza on a couple occasions, and the service and food are wonderful. The veggie pizza is as fresh as we've ever found (the staff chop fresh vegetables when each is made, and you can tell as the toppings are flavorful and not frozen). Apparently some reviewers are confused by the name (Just Off The Brick), which is a reference to the brick main street in French Lick, we're guessing, not the method of cooking, for which we have no criticism. Family friendly, family-run and fresh, we stop each time we're visiting this small town.
Service was awful. It felt like no one was running the place.
My experience was without a doubt the worst one yet!!! I was under the impression the pizza was actually off the brick; " As in a brick oven". They were using a small conventional pizza oven. The ingredients' were not fresh, they were out of the can and burnt on my pizza. The onions on my pizza looked like dental floss, the crust was worse than cardboard. Service was appalling, she said " how is everything"?. REALLY!!! As far as I am concerned " JUST OFF THE BRICK" is more " Just stay home" save your hard earned cash for a place more deserving. I give them 1 star for a clean dining area. Sincerely, THE CRITIC
My husband and I were at West Baden resort for our 25th anniversary and wanted to see the local 'flavor'. We stopped in here for pizza and were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, well made, good ingredients, hearty flavor. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Down home feel. I liked the local history and family touches in the decor. It could be updated and fancied up a bit, but it's not a deterant as it is. The high points of this eatery are the welcoming attitude and the good food for a good price. We will be returning on our next trip. Highly recommended as a break from the fluff of the hotels.
