Hello, I hate to complain, but I feel that this is honestly warranted. I had to leave your restaurant after waiting for 30 minutes without food. To start off, once we were seated... (We walked right in) we were ignored for 10 minutes. No water no nothing. I had to leave my seat and go back up front to ask who our server was and I stated that it had been 10 minutes since we had sat down. At this point we noticed that the table that was seated just after us had gotten their food already. I am thinking "how is this possible, we were here first???” So now the waitress showed up and we ordered our drinks...still no water on the table and we ordered our food at the same time. 20 minutes later, still no food. This place was busy, but not that busy where I feel that they were just swamped. There were four empty tables near us that I could see, so I don't feel that they were SUPER swamped with people. At this point I am feed up with the lack of service. So we are done with this entire debacle, we got up and left and told the people up front we were leaving and why. I eat at your rest chain ALLOT, and this is definitively not normal. Typically, the food wait is 10 minutes…MAX! This was our 15th anniversary get away and we loved the great service we had at the French Lick Springs Hotel, we figured we would leave a bit early and eat breakfast at a local restaurant, now I feel I made a mistake and should have ate at the hotel where they knew the value of the dollar and what customer service was all about. Feel free to contact me !!!
Breakfast at 10 am. Prompt, friendly service. Good coffee.
My wife entered the Dennys at 6:25 PM. It took a while to get waited on. We both ordered hamburgers. At 6:55 the water brings out pancakes and eggs. By that time we were out of time because we had reservations for the train ride in town. I won’t be back.
