My wife and I have been to 33 Brick St probably 6 times over the last yr or so. The first visit was by far the best. Since that first time, service has steadily declined. First incident involved a lost appetizer order. Then very slow service and then slower service. Tonite was the straw that broke the camel's back. Our food came out and all looked good but no roll. Having ordered the same meal before I thought it came with a roll. Asked the server about it and she advised she would bring us each a roll right out. Our server then went to the kitchen and came back out and went past our table without even looking our way or speaking a word. A few more minutes went by and again our server went past us without speaking or bringing any bread. We then asked her about it. She then played the blame game. "My food runner should have brought it" After we were completely done with our meal, still, no rolls. She was johnny on the spot with the check though. My recommendation is......unless every other restaurant in French Lick is closed, don't bother.
Cool atmosphere, nice staff and the most amazing potato soup. Seriously.
I love this place. If your looking for a place to have dinner, a few beers, and listen to some local musicians, then this is your place. Let me recommend that you try the breaded tenderloin sandwich... Wow...
